Aaron and April have been privileged to work with couples for over a decade, helping them prepare for marriage by hearing from God about his heart and vision for them through prayer ministry and spiritual direction. Now, God has them engaging in the important work of renewing marriages and helping couples move from “just fine” to a healthy, living marriage, full of purpose and unity in God and with each other.
Aaron and April are thrilled (and often exhausted and perplexed) at the gift that their two young sons are. They make their home in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Aaron was the planting pastor of Avenue Church, in Edmonton. He was honoured to walk alongside people in that community and neighbourhood for ten years before God called him and April to start Living Marriages. A graduate of Taylor Seminary, where he received his Masters of Divinity, Aaron also received training in integration healing and prayer ministry through Imago Dei Ministries and Caring for the Heart Ministries.
Aaron is also active as a musician, performing as a violinist and violist with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and as a classical music radio host with CKUA Radio. Aaron likes to think he missed his calling as a professional hockey goalie but at this stage in life realizes he is a better spectator than player.
April holds a Bachelors degree in education from the University of Alberta and a certificate in Spiritual Direction from the Studion School for Spiritual Direction. She has a passion for learning and expanding her knowledge and has continued studies in the areas of personal growth and spiritual formation since graduating from the Studion.
April is a stay-at-home and homeschool mom to two inquisitive and energetic young boys, who keep her on her toes. In her free time she enjoys reading, spending time with friends and doing creative activities, such as crafting, fine art and theatre.
